ELIZABETHTOWN — The list of pizza venues in Bladen County was shrunk by one recently, but it is expected to be a temporary disapearance.
Folks around Elizabethtown have been noticing that the Pizza Hut location on West Broad Street appears to be closed. And they are right.
According to information learned by the Bladen Journal, the closing is only temporary. The Journal was told that the store’s air-conditioning unit malfunctioned recently, resulting in the need to replace the unit as well as all of the requisite duct work inside the store, forcing the store’s temporary closure last week.
The store was expected to resume normal operations this week.
The store has undergone extensive remodeling in recent months, but was able to remain open during that process.
