MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — According to various media reports, a security officer who lives in Clarkton, N.C., has been arrested and charged with indecent exposure at a hotel on North Ocean Boulevard after turning himself in.
Myrtle Beach Police say they arrested Lakendrick Durrell Powers, 27, an employee with Excalibur Security.
The incident took place on June 23 at the Sea Dip Oceanfront Hotel. According to reports, two women at the hotel claim that Powers requested they leave or be subject to arrest. The women then reported that Powers added that, if they did him a favor, they could stay.
According to police, Powers asked the women which of them had the prettiest feet and asked one of them to show her feet while standing in a stairwell. The report states that Powell removed one of the women’s shoes and began masturbating.
According to The Sun News, both women said they complied with Powers “due to the intimidation factor that the uniformed security guard exhibited.”
The Sun News also stated it was not clear whether Powers was assigned to work at the Sea Dip Oceanfront Hotel.
There was no indication on whether Powers remained in jail or had posted any bond.
