ELIZABETHTOWN — Six Bladen County educators will assume new positions for the 2014-2015 school year.


According to the Bladen County Schools District Office, the following changes have been made::


— Elizabethtown Primary Assistant Principal Priscilla Brayboy has been named principal of Bladen Lakes Primary School.


— East Arcadia Principal Ronald Coley has been named principal of Booker T. Washington Primary School.


— Clarkton School of Discovery Assistant Principal Demetrice Jones has been named principal of East Arcadia School.


— Elizabethtown Middle School Assistant Principal Elizabeth Cole has been named principal of Elizabethtown Middle School.


— Booker T. Washington Principal Kimbrie Esters has been named principal of Tar Heel Middle School.


— Bladen Lakes Primary School Principal Reida Roberts has been named the Exceptional Children director at the District Office.


These new assignments leave assistant principal vacancies at Clarkton School of Discovery, Elizabethtown Primary, Elizabethtown Middle, and Tar Heel Middle.


“We have amazing principals in our schools and I am impressed with the magnitude of work they do,” said Superintendent Robert Taylor. “These individuals maintain high levels of professionalism and continuously strive for excellence. They were leaders before they became a principal and I am confident they will guide their school as visionary instructional leaders.


“I know the staff, the students, and the parents will welcome the exceptional leadership that is coming to their school and continue to offer their support to maintain the excellent schools that we have,” he added.
