Gov. pat McCrory has proclaimed September 2013 as Citizens Awareness Month in North Carolina.

The goal of this proclamation is to provide North Carolina citizens with every opportunity to register to vote.

East Bladen and West Bladen High schools will be conducting student voter registration in the atrium of the schools. East Bladen students can register at their school Monday, Sept. 23, and Tuesday, Sept. 24. West Bladen students can register at their school Wednesday, Sept. 18.

Any student that will be 18 years old on or before Nov. 4 can vote in the November 2013 election.
