Tierra Sade Thompson of Durham and Brandon Alexander Hunt of White Oak were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cary. Min. Sherry Everett officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Clarence and Vanessa Taylor of Durham. She is a graduate of Hillside High school and North Carolina State University. She is employed with Ralph Lauren.
The groom is the son of Edward and Dildra Jessup of White Oak. He is a a graduate of East Bladen High School and North Carolina State University. He is employed with Ralph Lauren.
The bride was given in marriage by her stepfather, Clarence Taylor. The maid of honor was Taylor Brown of Durham. Serving as bridesmaids were Talaya Hutcherson of Oxford, Charlitta Boyd of High Point, Erin Cheney of Hickory, Cherita Jones of Durham, Paris Smith of Greensboro, Courtney Kelly of Durham and Camia McCorkle of Newton.
Serving as flower girls were Nyra Melvin of Greensboro and Ty’Lee Strong of Oxford. The ring bearer was Gavin Minters of Durham. A program of wedding music was provided by Shawn Ballard.
The groom chose Andrew Geathers of White Oak as his best man. Groomsmen were Eddie Parker of Greenville, Ronnie Melvin of Elizabethtown, Adrian Perkins of Greenville, Reginald Moore of Salisbury, Asher Eddy of Charlotte, Shane Boyd of Greenville, Jared Fontaine of Newark, N.J.

A reception was held following the ceremony at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cary.
After a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Greensboro.
