Robertson’s words were the truth

3 months 28 days 20 hours ago |3 Views | | | Email | Print

The fiasco going on between A&E and Phil Robertson of the “Duck Dynasty” family only goes to put a shining light on exactly what has become so wrong in this country.

Freedom of speech now means that if you say something — even if it’s biblically true — and it hurts someone’s feelings or goes against some zealot’s beliefs, then you will pay a price.

Robertson spoke the truth about what the Bible says concerning homosexuality. His faith and beliefs in God’s word have never waved throughout his life, yet he gets suspended for that faith and belief.

Listen, if Robertson had said in an interview that he agreed with the homosexuality lifestyle and would do what he could to promote it, there would have been no suspension or uproar — save for the victorious trumpeting by the perverted gays and lesbians.

And to even consider comparing Robertson’s words to what Paula Deen was fired for by the Food Channel is ridiculous. Deen attacked a race of people; Robertson spoke the truth according to to God about a perversion.

How did this country become so cock-eyed?
