CLARKTON — Heather Guyton Thompson, a teacher at Clarkton School of Discovery, was recently selected as one of just 15 recipients nationwide for the 9/11 Education Program.
Middle- and high-school teachers across the country were invited to submit an application and proposal.
Thompson will now participate in an online program in recognition of the 15th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, providing interdisciplinary instruction.
