DUBLIN – WECT-TV news anchor Frances Weller addressed graduating curriculum students during commencement exercises at Bladen Community College in May.

Weller encouraged students to make sound choices, be committed, and have courage.

“Your options in life are endless,” she counseled. “Every decision you make will affect the rest of your life.”

The BCC Curriculum Graduation Ceremony included greetings from Board Chair Dennis Troy and a musical presentation by the Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church Male Chorus.

From the 179 applying students in the Class of 2016, graduate Levy Pait was recognized with the Academic Excellence Award. The Foundation Merit Scholarship was awarded to Chief Marshall Zachary Bridgers.

Marshalls for the service were Zachary Bridgers, Savannah Brown, and Tammy Winebarger.

BCC President William Findt conferred degrees, diplomas, and certificates to the candidates for graduation.
