Teresa Hester, left, and Chad McKenzie, right, presented $7,000 recently to United Way Chairperson Frances Miller. The campaign, coordinated by Hester and McKenzie, surpassed the college goal of $5,500 with fundraisers and 100 percent participation from BCC employees. The Student Government Association, the Criminal Justice program, and the History Club organized individual fundraisers to contribute to the event.
