LOUISBURG (WNCN) — Several people are being sought or were arrested on more than 120 felony charges after a 7 month undercover investigation, Franklin County deputies say.

The drug investigation was conducted by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Louisburg Police and the NC Dept. of Revenue, officials said Tuesday.

“The undercover campaign focused on the illegal sale, possession and use of drugs including prescription narcotics,” said Franklin County Sheriff Kent Winstead.

A grand jury on Monday indicted several people on a total of 129 felony charges, Winstead said.

The following 5 people people were arrested on a total of 57 charges, but more arrests are “pending,” Winstead said.

Jimmie McCoy Scott, age 33, of 30 Pines Court in Franklinton, who is facing 15 charges.

Tyesha Lacole Brodie, age 43, of 201 A Copper Street in Louisburg, is facing 9 charges.

Antonia Deshawn Williams, age 43, also of 201 A Copper Street, is facing 12 charges.

Dennis Earl Fennell Sr., age 47, of 20 Owen Farm Loop in Louisburg is facing 20 charges.

Tevin Jeffery Arrington, age 21, of 604 S. Main Street in Louisburg is facing 1 charge.
