BURGAW — Four County Electric Membership Corporation has named Gregg Cohn as vice president of engineering.
Cohn assumed the new position on March 12.
Cohn is no stranger to Four County EMC — he worked with the cooperative a number of years ago as an engineer and was acting manager of engineering during a portion of that time.
Cohn received his bachelor of science in electrical engineering from the Citadel, his master of business administration from Clemson University and has completed the Dale Carnegie Course. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy before beginning his utility career.
Cohn has more than 22 years of experience in management and as an electrical engineer in the electrical/utility industry. Prior to joining Four County EMC, he was a consultant with GlobalVision, LLC in Greenville, S.C.
“It’s good to be back at Four County EMC and in the surrounding area,” said Cohn.
He and his wife Donna will live in the Burgaw area. The Cohns have a daughter, Colleen, currently a junior at the University of South Carolina.
Four County EMC serves approximately 32,000 members throughout Bladen, Duplin, Pender, Sampson, Columbus and Onslow counties.
