ELIZABETHTOWN — Bladen County sheriff’s deputies worked a total of 57 calls from the public for assistance between June 25 and June 30.
Among those call were six for verbal and/or physical assault, five for breaking and/or entering, five for stolen welfare checks, three for larceny, two for drugs, two for alarms and one for suspicious activity.
There were also 19 arrests during that same time period.
The following are the more important and/or interesting arrests:
— Darrell Wayne Powell, 52, charged with felony possession of a firearm at 194 Todd Britt Court in Bladenboro on June 25.
— Geovannie Drayton, 20, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at 194 Todd Britt Court in Bladenboro on June 25.
— James Darren Collins, 21, charged with two counts of felony obtaining property by false pretense at 8425 Lisbon Road in Clarkton on June 27.
— Jennie Hall McLemore, 42, charged with assault inflicting serious injury at 975 Willard Tatum Road in Elizabethtown on June 27.
— Lorenzo Glen Emanuel, 29, charged with felony larceny at Bladen-Robeson counties line on June 28.
— Alfonza Lewis, 38, charged with felony larceny of horse/swine/cattle at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on June 30.
— Anthony Nathaniel Moore, 28, charged with two counts civil contempt for child support at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on June 30.
