ELIZABETHTOWN — Deputies with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office handled a total of 57 calls from the public between Aug. 20 and Aug. 27.
Among those calls were 11 for larceny, 10 for breaking and/or entering, seven for verbal and/or physical assault, three for drugs, two for alarms and one for suspicious activity.
There were also 19 arrests during that same time.
Following are the more important and/or interesting arrests:
— Melissa Ann Drayton, 27, charged with felony possession with intent to sell/deliver a Schedule II controlled substance at 9483 U.S. 701 South in Clarkton on Aug. 21.
— Corey Scott Alford, 34, charged with felony delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance at 9483 U.S. 701 South in Clarkton in Aug. 21.
— Roy Lee Kelly, 63, charged with felony manufacturing cocaine at 163 McCullum Road in Clarkton on Aug. 21.
— Christopher Allen Curtis, 24, charged with defrauding a drug/alcohol screen test at 209 Stephies Way in Bladenboro on Aug. 21.
— James Walter DiCicco, 47, charged with felony larceny of a motor vehicle at 13172 N.C. 211 West in Bladenboro on Aug. 22.
— Jim Robert Goins, 35, charged with felony attempted first-degree burglary at 260 E. Carolina Ave. in White Lake on Aug. 22.
— Shante Shaneera Kelly, 21, charged with civil contempt for child support at 10898 S. College St. in Clarkton on Aug. 24.
— Bruce Elliott McKoy, 49, charged with felony manufacture of marijuana at 458 Barney Coe Road in Kelly on Aug. 26.
— Justin Blake Pittman, 23, charged with felony forgery of instrument at 6485 U.S. 701 North in Elizabethtown on Aug. 26.
