BLADENBORO — While deputies with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office were attempting to locate a suspect who was wanted on outstanding warrants, they stumbled upon an even bigger take.

According to Capt. Jeff Singletary, while searching the 900 block of Storm Road in Bladenboro, deputies located a methamphetamine lab.

Three Bladenboro residents were arrested at the scene and taken into custody: Holy Louise Dietz, 33; Robert Anthony Byrd, 29; and Cooper Lee Davis, 28. Each were charged with three counts of possession of a pre-cursor material for the production of methamphetamine.

All three were booked into the Bladen County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond.

Singletary said additional arrests are pending. He did not indicate whether the individual being sought on outstanding warrants had been located.
