Bladen County businesses and government offices have announced closings for the Veteran’s Day holiday on Friday, Nov. 11. They include:
— All federal courts and North Carolina courts will be closed Friday, Nov. 11 in observance of the holiday. They will resume normal operations on Monday, Nov. 14.
— There will be no mail delivery on Friday, Nov. 11, and all post offices will be closed.
— Federal offices, state offices, and local county and municipal government offices will be closed to mark the holiday.
— Bladen County Solid Waste convenience centers will be operating on a normal schedule, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. However, the transfer station will be closed Friday. Normal operations will resume on Monday, Nov. 14.
— All branches of the Bladen County Public Library will be closed Friday, Nov. 11.
— Waste Industries does not list Veteran’s Day as a holiday for trash pick-up.
