ELIZABETHTOWN — The Bladen County Animal Shelter will be waiving the adoption fee for all dogs through Sept. 9.
Those who adopt will still be required to pay the $25 vaccination fee for the dogs.
“The shelter is full and we hope that waiving the adoption fee for these two weeks will help get new homes for some of our dogs,” said Shelter Manager Karen Suggs. “We have a lot of dogs waiting on that special person to make a big difference in their life and give them the loving home they deserve.”
The adoption hours are Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. The shelter will be closed on Labor day. There are photos of all of the dogs available for adoption on the Shelter’s Facebook page (Bladen County Animal Control and Shelter).
