WHITE LAKE — The Girlfriends In Faith Together organization is hosting the “Everything Beautiful” women’s conference at The Venue at Regal Resort in White Lake on Sept. 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

According to Tonya Hoglen, president of the Girlfriends In Faith Together organization, it is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that exists to encourage and empower women through Christian fellowship and Christ-centered conferences to confidently, joyfully and fully live their God-purposed lives.

“We realize that some conferences are expensive and may take too much time away from family,” said Hoglen. “It is our hearts desire to create an excellent conference in a relaxing and loving atmosphere with dynamic speakers and amazing worship, along with great food and fellowship that gives our girlfriends time away without feeling they are neglecting their families nor breaking the budget.”

The guest speakers for the conference are Teresa Allen, founder of Merry Hearts Ministries, who will be giving her testimony as well as a bit of comedy, and Robin Moffit, women’s ministry leader and conference coordinator for Beach Road Baptist Church in Oak Island, who will be giving a message on leaving a legacy.

The worship will be led by the praise team at Oasis Bethany Church of God.

Pastries, fruit, juice and coffee will be provided by Burney’s Sweets and More during registration. There will also be many door prizes given out throughout the day as well as a photo booth.

The dress is casual attire.

“We want the women to come comfortable and ready for a fun filled day,” said Hoglen.

Anyone who is attending the conference and has affiliation with a non-profit organization may set up an information table upon request.

Early registration of $25 is being accepted until Aug. 17 and includes lunch, a free G.I.F.T. journal and a 20-percent off coupon for the G.I.F.T. merchandise table. The cost will then be $35 until registration closes on Sept. 11.

“My heart’s desire is for everyone to come and be apart of this special day to come and enjoy this time together,” explained Hoglen.
