Bladen County businesses and government offices have announced closings for the Fourth of July holiday on Monday.

Those include:

— All federal courts and North Carolina courts will be closed on Monday, July 4, in observance of the holiday. They will resume normal operations on Tuesday, July 5.

— There will be no mail delivery on Monday, July 4, in observance of the Fouth of July holiday. Regular mail delivery will resume on Tuesday, July 5.

— All federal offices, state offices and local county and municipal government offices will be closed Monday, July4, to mark the holiday. They will resume normal operation on Tuesday, July 5.

— The Bladen County Transfer Station will be closed Monday, July 4, in observance of the holiday. Normal operations shall resume on Tuesday, July 5. All other county collecton centers will be operating on their normal schedules.

— The Bladen Journal offices will be closed on Monday, July 4, in observance of the holiday. They will reopen on Tuesday, July 5, at 9 a.m. Tuesday’s delivery of the Bladen Journal should not be interrupted.
