Concert coming to Goldston’s Beach

WHITE LAKE — Everyone loves a good summer concert, especially a free one.

With that in mind, Goldston’s Beach at White Lake wlil be hosting a fun-filled night of live entertainment on Thursday, June 30, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The event, called “Sunset Jams-Alive After Five,” and is being sponsored by the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and Southeastern Health.

Dawn Maynord, the chamber’s executive director who is charge of the event, said they are only doing one concert for the summer to see if everything goes well and to see how the community would enjoy and react to it.

“Alive After Five” will be feature the music of Steve Owens and Summertime.

Maynord also said that she is hoping for a great turnout and support from the community so that next year the event can be even bigger and better.

Visitors may bring blankets and folding chairs, but there will be no coolers allowed.
