BLADENBORO — This might be the best time in decades to start a business. Competitors are hard-hit, resources are cheaper, and good people aren’t hard to find. The Small Business Center at Bladen Community College is offering a “Starting a Home-based Business” seminar to answer such questions as “What would be the best small business to start right now?” and “Would a business bring in extra income or provide a job?”

The seminar, open to the public and free of charge, will be held Thursday, May 5 from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Community Center in Bladenboro.

To register for the seminar or for more information, call 910-879-5572 or register online here.

The Small Business Center Network, comprised of 58 Small Business Centers throughout North Carolina, supports the development of new businesses and the growth of existing businesses by being a community-based provider of training, counseling, and resource information.
