Hundreds turn out for Easter egg hunt


JONES LAKE — Children at Jones Lake State Park Saturday raced to find the 4,500 candy-filled eggs that were scattered around the grounds. 435 people registered for the event, which, in addition to celebrating Easter, commemorated the centennial anniversary of the North Carolina State Parks system.
