— In the Democratic primary for N.C. House District 22, incumbent William Brisson of Dublin will face challenger Ben Snyder of Elizabethtown.

— In the race for Board of Education District 1, the seat being vacated by Ophelia Munn-Goins will see challengers Glenn McKoy of Council facing Sabrina Murchison of Elizabethtown.
