There will be several closings on Monday, Jan. 18, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Those closings include:
— The Bladen County Transfer Station will be closed Monday, Jan. 18. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 19. All other county collection centers will be operating on their regular schedule.
— The Bladen County Courthouse will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18, and reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 19. The Bladen County Board of Commissioners will not meet on Monday, but on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
— All Bladen County Schools will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for the holiday and end of semester conferences. They will resume classes on Thursday.
— The Bladen County Board of Education’s Central Office will be closed Monday and reopen on Tuesday.
— Bladen Community College will be closed on Monday and reopen for classes on Tuesday.
— All branches of the Bladen County Public Library will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
— There will be no mail delivery on Monday and the U.S. Postal Service offices will be closed.
— All federal offices and courts will be closed on Monday.
