ELIZABETHTOWN – The Elizabethtown Rotary Club was treated to a program from Ashley Trivette of Healthworks Fitness and Wellness in Elizabethtown .

Ashley and her husband Tracey Trivette purchased Healthworks and have recently been busy installing new equipment at the fitness center.

Trivette said that new strength training equipment is now on the way, as well.

Trivette told the group that the fitness offers a variety of services including free weights, strength training, spray tanning, traditional tanning beds, and a pool to name just a few things.

“We’ve got it all,” said Trivette.

Trivette said she worked at the gym for about two years prior to making the purchase. She added she feels very honored to have the opportunity to operate Healthworks.

She told the club that three additional classes have been added to the gym’s offering since August. They are called Hip Hop Abs; Abs, Legs and Buns; and BEND.

Some other improvements Trivette said have been made include re-opening the hot tub, and installing new heaters for both the pool and hot tub.

Trivette said another change has been the purchase of uniforms for staff members.

“It gives a more professional image for the staff,” said Trivette of the uniforms.

She also explained that clients of the gym can immediately identify the staff members working on that particular day by their uniform.

“When staff is wearing their uniform they are working, when they are not wearing their uniform, they are not working,” said Trivette.

The smoothie bar has also increased the number of selections available there as well and now folks can call in orders ahead of their arrival and your favorite smoothie will be ready when you arrive.
