FAYETTEVILLE — On Friday at 2:39 p.m., a SUV was traveling north on I-95. The operator of the SUV lost control near the 47 mile marker, traveled off the roadway to the left, and struck a tree within the median. The vehicle then overturned and came to rest facing south.
There were seven total occupants within the vehicle. Two adults, a two year old child, and a 17 year old were killed as a result of the collision. Three other juveniles within the vehicle were hurt and transported to Cape Fear Valley Hospital.
Those who were killed were indentified as:
Driver: Reginal Reddish, 33, of Aiken, S.C.
Front right passenger: Jennifer Reddish, 31, of Aiken, S.C.
Second seat right passenger: Kardell Sapp, 13, of Aiken, S.C.
Second seat middle passenger: Reginald Reddish Jr., 2, of Aiken, S.C.
Those injured have been identified as:
Deangelo Washington, 15, of Aiken, S.C. – Transferred to UNC Hospital in serious condition.
Rejerra Reddish, 4, of Aiken, S.C. – Currently at Cape Fear Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Faye Cushman, 7, of North Augusta, S.C. – Currently at Cape Fear Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
