ELIZABETHTOWN — The Helping Thoughts Foundation, Inc. recently donated school supplies to the foster care unit of the Bladen County Department of Social Services.

The supplies will be distributed to local children who are currently in the foster care progam to help in preparing them for the new school year. There are currently 45 children in the program.

School supplies will be accepted at the Social Services office through Tuesday.
