Cape Fear Farmers Market
The Cape Fear Farmers Market features local farmer-grown, local farmer-sold products. Member's farms are visited and inspected regularly to assure that all items sold are locally grown by the seller and are of the highest quality. Plants are available starting in March and local fruits and vegetables are sold throughout the growing season.
Our market consists of a variety of locally provided fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, meats, eggs, jams, jellies, preserves, honey-based products, as well as a wide range of farming-related products. Once a month, vendors display and sale their handcrafted one-of-a-kind items. This establishment also consists of two exceptional anchor stores. Burney's Sweets & More specializes in delicious pastries, doughnuts, cakes, and lunch sandwiches. Inman's Deli & Meat Market carries freshly cut meats and a variety of lunch selections, including hamburgers, hotdogs, and fresh deli meat sandwiches. The Cape Fear Farmers Market of Bladen County is located at 106 MLK Drive in Elizabethtown, North Carolina at the former location of Inman's Red & White, adjacent to Bank of America. Hours of operation are Mondays through Saturdays, from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Our mission is to provide quality, locally-grown produce to the community and to encourage agriculture in the area through an alternative income for local farmers. Please note fee's that will apply for vendors that wish to rent space at the Cape Fear Farmer's Market. Craft Fair & Produce Vendors The Cape Fear Farmer's Market will host a Craft Fair the first Saturday of each month. If you are interested in being a vendor, it is important that you contact Sarah Baysden at 862-2066 to reserve your booth in the market. As a reminder, only handmade or homemade items will be allowed. If you have fruits, vegetables or farm products that you would like to sell, these items can be sold at the market anytime; however, you will need to complete an application and obtain a list of the rules and regulations.
