In support of Child Abuse Awareness Month, several employees for the Bladen County Hospital emergency department staff made two pinwheel flower gardens. One that is in front of the hospital and one in front of the emergency department. Tiffany Pait comments, “It is very important for us to support child abuse awareness, people do not realize the prevalence in our community and the impact that it has on our children. “ Please, if you know of a child being abused, report this to your local law enforcement or the Department of Social Services at 910-862-6800. Your call will remain anonymous.
