— Nov. 22 1967: The Clarkton Warriors defeat Boone Trail, 6-0, in the Region II Class A football playoffs and move into the finals against Liberty.
— Nov. 23, 1976: Paul G. Butler Jr. of White lake is hired as industrial developer for Bladen County after previously serving as county manager in Sampson County.
— Nov. 23, 1987: Robert Holmes of Elizabethtown, a Boy Scout leader for more than 50 years, receives the Cape Fear Award, the highest adult recognition given by the Boy Scouts of America district.
— Nov. 21, 2003: The Bladen County Board of Commissioners approve a request from residents to add BARTS service in the eastern part of the county. A bus is assigned to the Carver’s Creek, East Arcadia and Council areas.
— Nov. 21, 2008: Bladen County Hospital wins the Compass Award from Press Ganey, a leading health care consulting firm, for its patient satisfaction scores.
