LUMBERTON — A 16-year-old Lumberton boy has been charged with the shooting death of a 21-year-old man, according to Lumberton police.
Dreashawn Kammaron Tyler, of Jerome Street, is charged with the first-degree murder of Eh Taw Taw. Police found Taw at 105 Grace St. in Lumberton about 10:40 a.m Saturday. He had been shot multiple times in the stomach, according to Capt. Terry Parker, criminal investigative commander with the Lumberton Police Department.
Tyler turned himself in to police on Sunday afternoon, said Parker. He is also charged with shooting into occupied property and breaking and entering.
Tyler is being held without bond for the first-degree murder charge at the Robeson County jail. Bond for his other charges is set at $50,000, said Parker. He was due to appear in court in Lumberton today.
Parker said police are looking for a second person who might have been involved. He did not provide any descriptive information beyond the person’s race and gender. The person is male.
