Drug arrest made in Bladenboro

BLADENBORO — An undercover operation by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old Bladenboro man on Friday on a number of drug charges.


According to Capt. Rodney Hester, the operation was initiated after numerous complaints of drug activity in the Bryant Swamp Church Road and Ronald Britt Road area.


“During the investigation, agents purchased crack cocaine on two separate occasions …” Hester said.


Arrested was Marcus Theodore Hill, aka Marcus T, and he was charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell/distribute cocaine, two counts of manufacturing cocaine, one count of maintaining a dwelling house for the purpose of keeping/selling drugs, two counts of selling cocaine, two counts of delivering cocaine, two counts of conspiring to sell cocaine and two counts of conspiring to deliver cocaine.


Hill was booked into the Bladen County Jail on a $75,000 secured bond.
