ELIZABETHTOWN — The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office released its weekly victim and arrest report for Aug. 28 through Sept. 4.
The reports showed 64 victims of crime — including 10 for verbal and/or physical assault, eight for residential and/or business alarms, six for larceny, six for breaking and/or entering, four for 9-1-1 hangups and one for drugs.
There were also 16 arrests during that same time period.
The following are the more interesting and/or important arrests:
— Tevin Lamar Baldwin, 17, charged with communicating threats at 5600 N.C. 87 Hwy. East in Clarkton on Aug. 28.
— William Edward Campbell, 54, charged with felony failure to appear on a felony at 10511 SWR Latham St. in Clarkton on Aug. 29.
— Virginia Marie Osborne, 20, charged with felony trafficking methamphetamine at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on Aug. 30.
— Teresa Denise Lauderback, 29, charged with communicating threats at 108 Stewart St. in Elizabethtown on Aug. 30.
— Corey Lamar Clark, 28, charged with felony assault by strangulation at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on Sept. 1.
— Deborah Faye Purdie, 44, charged with assault with a deadly weapon at 5649 Mercer Mill Road in Clarkton on Sept. 2.
