DIRECTOR OF ALLIED HEALTH PROGRAMSBladen Community College is accepting applications for a full time (12 month) director of allied health programs. A master’s degree in nursing is required, with a major in nursing education preferred. Must currently possess an unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina. Must have a minimum of two (2) calendar years full-time experience as a faculty member in an approved program. Two (2) calendar years or the equivalent of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse required. The individual in this position is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating all instruction and related program management activities. Essential duties and functions include: creating an optimum learning environment, responding to student needs, managing effective instructional activities, provide professional development opportunities, developing and reviewing/revising curriculum courses, coordinate program development, and maintaining positive working relationships with faculty, staff, and students.
